PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Project Manager is responsible for the seamless execution of the projects assigned to him/her, from design to release of the specified equipment. He or she is also responsible for being the main point of contact between the clients and our manufacturers.
The complete management of the projects will be done in close collaboration and with the support of the representatives and technical directors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and optimize ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing and, heating systems through the selection of equipment for the various products represented by the company.
- Provide technical support to our customers during the review of engineering documents including drawings, selections, as well as technical plans and specifications.
- Prepare bids (BOM), make take-offs and, cost estimates.
- Coordinate the closing of tender projects and follow-up.
- Participate in the negotiation of projects.
- Produce drawings for approval and follow up closely with the client.
- Ensure the coordination of projects ranging from the start of production with the manufacturers to the delivery of the equipment.
- Respond to technical questions and installation problems from contractors.
- When required, accompany customers and technicians on construction sites.
- Attend training at the office as well as in the factories of the manufacturers, as part of continuing education (hours counted for the OIQ, PEO (Professional Engineers of Ontario)) and any other engineering associations in Atlantic.
REQUIREMENTS
- Preferably a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a college diploma in building engineering.
- Relevant HVAC experience is an asset.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Full-time (weekdays)
- 37.5 hours per week
- Flexible schedule between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
