Refrigeration Technician specialized in VRF – MTL

Composed of a dynamic and passionate team, we are a growing Canadian company. We are currently looking for a Refrigeration Technician. By joining our team, you will evolve in an environment that is as professional as friendly, driven by a strong team spirit.

Reporting to the director of after-sales service, your mission will be to carry out start-ups and technical support required to serve our customers.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform scheduled start-ups of HVAC systems as requested by suppliers.
  • Perform start-up of a complete VRF system.
  • Act as technical support on construction sites when problems arise with installed systems.
  • Provide technical support by telephone during the start-up, operation, and maintenance of systems.
  • Prepare and give technical training on products to our customers and employees, on site or in the room.
  • Participate, develop, and deliver technical trainings for customers and employees on products.
  • Conduct site visits during meetings scheduled for or by conducting parties.
  • Follow up with technical reports.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Journeyman competency certificate or equivalent (refrigeration apprentice welcomed).
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in technical support.
  • Excellent knowledge of ventilation, air conditioning, and heating systems.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and passport with no mandatory travel restrictions.
  • Bilingual, excellent command of French and English (oral and written).

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT                                                                   

  • Full time (weekdays)
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Flexible work hours between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. to facilitate work-life balance
  • Gym onsite (showers and towels available)

  • Hourly salary between 20.60 $ and 50.00 $, depending on experience
